Summer Vacation Plans

Heeeeeeeeey everyone!! So, today Is June first, SUMMER VACATION!!!!!! I know everyone has a ton of stuff they want to do this summer, and that's what I'd like to know!!! Comment under this post and let me know!!! HAGS!! :)

Summer Tips (You'll need them!!)

Here is an age old trick that my mom recently told me about: We all love to go swimming in the summertime. But somehow at one point or another, we always manage to get water in our ears! Well, no one likes having that unwanted bit of water in their ear(s), and no one wants to pay for a bottle of eardrops either. So, today I had much of the same problem. Henceforth, I heard about this: take some regular rubbing alcohol and some white vinegar, and you mix them together. You can also use a straw for this, but put a couple drops into the person's/your ear. Make sure you're laying down or at least have your head tilted to one side. Let the solution sit in your ear for 2-5 minutes, or until you feel like it got all the way through your ear. Hold a paper towel to your ear and let the solution drain out. If it doesn't work the first time, well, try try again!! ;) Trust me this stuff really works, and you WILL need it!! Have a great summer!! :)

Camping on Stone Mountain!

I just came back from camping on Stone Mountain! It got really cold last night! Brrrrr... We went to the very tippy top of that giant white rock pile! It scared me half to death because of the extreme wind and height! We saw the falls, and we hiked the ENTIRE 5-mile trail. I'll tell you one thing, everything from my waist down is EXTREMELY SORE. Have a look at some of the scenery pics I took! :)

March 1st!!!

Ok, today is the first day of March. I assume everyone has heard the expression for this month: "In like a lion, out like a lamb." This expression relates to the month of March because it is usually very windy. But, contrary to the fact, near the end of the month, it is not windy at all. Strong winds : small and weak winds :: Lion : Lamb. See the relation???? Well, that's all for this month's RANDOM FACTS!!!!!

Happy Leap Day!!!

Hey everybody!!! Claire here!!! Guess what today is!!! IT'S LEAP DAY!!! Today only comes around every four years and do you know why??? There is a little more than 365 days in a normal year. Actually, about six hours more. So, every four years, we add an extra day to the shortest month to make up for the extra hours. 6x4=24. 24 hors in a day! Happy Leap Year!!!
